
Temple Aaron in Trinidad, CO is the oldest continually operating Jewish Synagogue in CO and the mountain west. Today she is home to a resurgence of interest and open for a variety of cultural and religious events.

In December 2023, Temple Aaron became a National Historic Landmark. In May 2024, it received the Endangered Places Progress Award from Colorado Preservation, Inc.

Temple Aaron of Trinidad has created beautiful commemorative coins in celebration of the 140th anniversary of the founding of Congregation Aaron in 1883, and in honor of its designation as a National Historic Landmark in December 2023. Proceeds will support restoration including replacement of the synagogue’s original roof.
