Temple Aaron Named a National Historic Landmark

Temple Aaron in Trinidad, CO is the oldest continually operating Jewish Synagogue in CO and the mountain west. Today she is home to a resurgence of interest and open for a variety of cultural and religious events. 

In December 2023, Temple Aaron became a National Historic Landmark. In May 2024, it received the Endangered Places Progress Award from Colorado Preservation, Inc.

Temple Aaron Commemorative Coins Available Now!

Temple Aaron of Trinidad has created beautiful commemorative coins in celebration of the 140th anniversary of the founding of Congregation Aaron in 1883, and in honor of its designation as a National Historic Landmark in December 2023. Proceeds will support restoration including replacement of the synagogue’s original roof.   

Minted of pure silver, the front of each coin features Temple Aaron, while the back depicts a proud image of Fishers Peak.

In-person Shabbat service Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Temple Aaron: service will be led by Denver's B'Nai Havurah
